A purpose-built rental building proposed for a prime location in Toronto’s Annex neighbourhood will bring dozens of purpose-built rental units to the neighbourhood by demolishing two single-detached homes on the site while retaining one single-detached heritage-designated home that will be integrated into the new 11-storey building. And the owners of the retained home will continue to live in the heritage structure once it is integrated within the newly-developed mid-rise.
