While the local councillor says the proposed redevelopment of a downtown tower-in-the-park site should be vigorously opposed by city planning staff, the proponent behind the two-tower residential project at 25 St. Mary Street says the redevelopment will bring new and improved rental housing to the property, in addition to providing a slew of community benefits and amenities to the area.
