The redevelopment of a former quarry in Scarborough is approaching as the final development plans are set to be considered by the city.

At its meeting June 25, City of Toronto Scarborough community council will consider a mixed-use development proposal for 411 Victoria Park Avenue, and 2510 and 2530 Gerrard Avenue East. Diamond Kilmer Developments, a partnership between DiamondCorp and Kilmer Group, and Glenspring Developments are proposing to redevelop the 7.8-hectare former quarry site with four residential apartment buildings of between eight and 12 storeys tall containing a total of 972 residential units, and 80 back-to-back and stacked townhouse units.
