Representing over 200 years of planning knowledge and experience, ten changemakers who have tactfully guided the growth and evolution of Toronto have retired from the city’s Planning Division. Half of the retirees worked within the division’s Urban Design section, appropriately described by outgoing program manager Alka Lukatela as a “well-oiled machine,” supported by a devoted team examining everything from regional master plans to specific site details.
