Through a partnership with energy savings investor and developer Efficiency Capital, WoodGreen Community Housing expects to be able to achieve nearly $6 million in utility savings through comprehensive sustainable building upgrades at eight of its 15 locations.
WoodGreen’s $1.3 million reserve fund investment was leveraged into a $3.4 million retrofit project, which is expected to produce savings of $6 million through decreased monthly contributions to capital reserves.
