Burlington city council has approved a recommendation to accept a settlement offer that could pave the way for construction of a three-building residential development at the Appleby Village shopping centre. At its August 24 meeting, council voted to settle outstanding issues that were before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) following the July submission of a new vision for the site from developer First Capital.
