SETTLEMENT, TAKE TWO

Following years of debate, a townhouse development in Burlington is moving ahead following a decision by the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT) to approve a settlement between the applicant and the City. This follows a previous 2018 settlement that was rescinded by the newly elected city council.

On July 30, the LPAT issued a decision (see LPAT News, today’s issue) approving National Homes (Brant) Inc.’s applications for official plan and zoning by-law amendments for 2100 Brant Street in Burlington, the result of a settlement with the City and the Regional Municipality of Halton.
