In an effort to facilitate the development of what it is calling a world-class development proposal in northeast Pickering, city council has approved a request by Dorsay Developments Corporation to initiate a ministerial zoning order that would advance the development of whitebelt lands in the GTA’s Innovation Corridor.
At its meeting on June 29, Pickering city council unanimously approved Dorsay’s request for a ministerial zoning order (MZO) to expedite the development of the proposed Veraine community, a new master-planned, sustainable community located just east of the Pickering airport lands.
