A massive mall redevelopment project proposed for the site of Markham’s largest shopping centre would bring significant new housing to the area while adding three new public parks, substantial community amenity space, and potentially, a new school, creating a new transit-oriented community within one of the city’s protected major transit station areas (PMTSA).
