Residents of Oakville’s Bronte Village community are worried that a proposed 15-storey mixed-use building could negatively impact the character of the neighbourhood and that the development could set a precedent for greater height than what planning policies for the area currently prescribe. But the project proponent counters that the development would establish an eastern gateway to Bronte Village, and would support the concept of a 20-minute neighbourhood.
