As Mississauga intensifies, new pedestrian infrastructure will be needed to support a shift away from a car-dominated transportation network to help create a safe and cohesive, walkable, local urban environment for city residents.
At its meeting June 30, City of Mississauga council will consider a staff-proposed Pedestrian Master Plan, which outlines options for how the city might build new pedestrian infrastructure like sidewalks, trails, and street crossings.
