Residents of the Town of Halton Hills are increasingly taking up cycling, walking, and other active transportation modes as their primary modes of transportation, and the town hopes that by improving local active transportation options, it will help improve the health of its residents and the environment.
At its meeting October 26, Halton Hills council adopted the active transportation master plan, which lays out a long-term plan for building up the town’s pedestrian and cycling infrastructure.
