The Town of Milton has adopted new planning policies to ensure that new development within established neighbourhoods respects the existing built form context.
At its meeting October 19, Milton council adopted a staff-proposed official plan amendment, zoning by-law, and interim control by-law (ICBL) meant to protect the town’s mature neighbourhoods—generally characterized by relatively small, post-war, single-detached homes—from overdevelopment.
