If approved, a proposed mixed-use development for Highway 7 could become the gateway to a major section of Vaughan’s new downtown area.
At its meeting June 29, City of Vaughan council will consider QuadReal Property Group and Menkes’ proposed mixed-use development at 3301 Highway 7. The proposal consists of four towers, 59, 55, 46, and 40-storeys on four to five-storey podia built around a 7,356-square metre privately-owned publicly-accessible open space (POPS) and pedestrian mews with a total 2,470 residential units and 8,172-square metres of commercial space. QuadReal is seeking rezoning approval to permit the development.
