With the recent closure of the General Motors (GM) plant in Oshawa, planners and city officials are considering the best ways to redevelop the site and provide the city with the best possible uses.
The Oshawa Car Assembly plant was a 930,000-square metre automotive manufacturing facility on a 139-hectare site at 1908 Colonel Samuel Drive.
