Struggling to attract commercial-industrial development to its designated employment areas, the Town of Whitby is exploring ways to expand the availability and size of serviced employment lands.
In a report presented to committee of the whole on January 27, Whitby town staff assessed the investment readiness of the town’s employment land inventory as a basis for stimulating economic growth and job creation.
